The Good News: Transformative failures aren’t rooted in our ability to „๐๐ฎ๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ฌ.“ Only 3% of respondents identified issues related to customer focus and operational excellence.
Challenges in ๐๐ก๐๐ง๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ: A significant portion of transformational failure (55%) can be attributed to Change Management. Internal teams sometimes struggle to anticipate future organizational needs and enact necessary changes. Several consultancy firms, represented by the logos in the picture, provide valuable support in this area, albeit often with substantial costs.
The Missing Piece: ๐๐ก๐๐ง๐ ๐ ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ: Another notable factor contributing to failure (42%) is the absence of effective Change Enablement. Teams lack a cohesive vision and struggle to engage others in the transformation journey. During my time in corporate positions, I had found no external consultancy firm addressing this critical gap in an effective manner. While traditional leadership and diversity programs address cultural aspects, their impact on business results during concrete transformation initiatives remains uncertain.
